EAR GEAR

So, I absolutely LOVE accessories.  More than clothes sometimes.  Accessories are the frosting; the cherry on top, if you will.  They can make or break an outfit and unlike make-up, less can be more but doesnt have to be…  It’s all in the intent.  For example, despite of what my good friends tell me, I don’t think I can ever have too many pearls on…it’s just supposed to look that way;)

Anyway. As much as I adore all the claspies and danglies, I can hardly ever bring myself to actually pay for the darn things.  90% of the time I’m thinking, “shiet. i can make that!” so I end up not getting it…and then worse, end up not having it.

Now, I have gadgets and gizmos a plenty;)  Whozits and Whatzits for sure.  I’m an ex-hardcore-arts-n-craftster.  An “ex” because it can only be out of pure selfish time that I allow myself to indulge in the smell and feel of paper and glue.  It’s uber time consuming and addicting.

Annnnd like a true addict, when my close others sit there and blog and tweet and twitpic about their DIY’s and “prahjeks”… well…

Here I am. 

5am in the morning. 

Tweezers, exacto knives, hot glue guns
Beads and birds and feathers
Clasps, wires, silver and gold …All over my room.

P.S. If you’ve been in my room, I’m sure you’ve wondered what the hell any of that shit on my shelves made use for…

Everything serves a purpose!
